Thanks to Bill & Diane, Roach & Kelly, Rich & Penny, Gary & Susan, Mike & Eva, Jerry, Ben, Jim, Lou, Frank, and Bonnie who came out to help the kids & the Salvation Army HOG run. The event was super with a lot of fun trying to figure out the observation ride of 33 miles, which none of us won. One question was where is the Port in Port Orange? Answer: In front of Orange. That was the only dumb question. We decided on the Halifax River. Wrong: Should have listened to Di, since she had the right answer, but still did not win the TV...We did however clean house on the door prizes & switched back & forth till ever one went home happy. Penny bid & won a $450. Country Time line dance DJ for 4 hours, which she plans to use at one of our socials. The food was plentiful & good. Damn, can Jim eat, and not to mention Bill with cookies used as buns around his 1/2 burger. Orlando HOG came in first in the Club Challenge & we tied for 2nd. with the Blue Knights, although there was only one trophy for first. HUMMMMM! Now I don't feel so bad since Seminole HOG didn't show up at their run either , nor did the Gold Wing Riders.... Final note: Many hog members made an extra effort to thank us for coming. Great time had by all. Sorry if you missed it.
